You’re Surviving, Not Thriving: Life With Social Anxiety

You’re Surviving, Not Thriving: Life With Social Anxiety
Caroline Smith

A life with social anxiety is not fulfilling. Oftentimes, it’s stress-inducing, nerve-racking, depressing, and lonely. You don’t thrive with a socially anxious mind; you merely survive with it.

You’re going through life and doing what needs to be done, but you’re not enjoying yourself; you can’t go to a social event without hiding in the corner and feeling like everyone is secretly judging you; you can’t make friends and build the social life you desire because you’re too afraid to have a conversation. This is more than just a social issue; it’s a quality of life issue.

But, not all hope is lost. Just like your brain has learned to fear social interactions, it can relearn how to be confident in social settings. You can learn to thrive and create fulfilling relationships.

Join me as I discuss the practical steps you can take to stop merely surviving and thrive, including how my upcoming group program, Conversation to Companion, can give you the tools you need to make that process more doable.
